Located in the rolling hills of the Scottish Borders, The Haughfoot Hamlet where the original Lodge was sited was approximately 1 mile south of the village of Stow. Although nothing remains of any buildings today, the area where it is believed to have stood is visible from the main A7 road which links Galashiels, Stow and Edinburgh The Map below shows the Location in relation to Stow and Galashiels |
